With releases on Archipel and Move D's seminal Source label, Joerg Schuster aka Sensual Physics has a small but respected back catalogue - and Ground Bias will do his reputation no harm. The arrangements unfold at a low tempo and with the exception of the deep techno of "Futurology" aren't geared for dancefloor use. Of course that shouldn't negate their musical value. "Always Something" is like deep house at a dead pace, its glorious chords unfolding in slow motion, while "Instant Society" is one of the most eloquent expressions of glitchy techno, its dubby rhythm containing evocative hardcore riffs amid its textured soundscapes. Sensual music indeed.
